We all shed hair – I know I do. Everyone in our family seems to shed more than the average person (at least that’s what my better half says). But how much does the average person shed each day?
I was surprised to learn it varies more than you’d think. You can shed anything between 40 and 150 hairs per day. So, on the short end of that you could drop around 280 hairs a week, while on the longer side (where I seem to be) you can shed a little over a thousand hairs. Yes, I’m definitely up at that level!
Of course sometimes natural hair loss can end up reaching unnatural levels. Our range of hair loss products gives you the chance to combat these issues in order to make sure your hair looks as full and healthy as possible every single day.
Were you ever told not to pluck out that grey hair because two would grow back in its place? Thankfully this is a myth – and there are plenty more associated with hair loss as well.
For example you might blame your hair loss on your mum’s side of the family. But in fact it could be down to both sides of the family – there are a couple of hundred genes that are involved in hair growth and everything to do with it, and they come from the lineage of both your parents. This can over time lead to an extremely sparse amount of hair on the head. Continue reading

The most important thing is to figure out what the reason is in your case. The sooner you do this the easier it is to stop hair loss in its tracks and get back to having a normal head of hair again.
